Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for providing recruiting leadership and support an assigned market.  Following ABRA’s recruiting process/system and legal requirements, the position will network, source and screen applicants for a variety of corporate and senior level positions, as well as coordinate the hiring and selection process.

Responsibilities

Develops and Executes Strategic Recruiting Plans:

  • Communicates regularly with hiring leaders to review staffing strategy, providing recommendations and understanding recruiting needs. Provides regular updates.
  • Researches, recommends and uses established and new sources for active and passive candidates. 
  • Posts open positions internally and on effective and economical job boards.
  • Reviews resumes/applications and pre-screens candidates, referring qualified candidates on to hiring managers.  Tracks progress of candidates in process & handles administrative details.
  • Manages the offer process to ensure consistency, compliance with ABRA policy & practice, and a high rate of acceptance.

 

Networking for Applicant Generation:

  • Promotes and expands the employee referral and alumni referral networks.
  • Working with operations and business development leaders, builds professional networks to help surface passive candidates.
  • Leverages variety of sourcing tools such as Linked In and Indeed to provide a high caliber slate of candidates
  • Maintains “competitive intelligence” on competitors within the market, and follows ABRA guidelines on recruiting from competition.  

General:

  • Perform special projects related to recruiting, employment branding and the overall selection process as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience handling corporate and field recruiting. 
    • Solid knowledge of employment law and best practices related to recruiting.
    • Must be familiar with ATS technology and use of social media in recruiting.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, as is a proven collaborative approach to work in partnership with other HR staff and operations leaders.  
    • Ability to independently prioritize and organize work and solve problems. 
    • Must have high sense of urgency.
    • Best practices and information sharing with other ABRA recruiting staff required.
    • There are no direct reports to this position; the individual must be both a leader and a “doer” to be successful in this role.
    • Because a substantial component of this position is driving a vehicle, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is essential to this job.
