The Director of Construction and Facilities position is responsible for enterprise wide management of all corporate facilities including site specific strategy development and planning, Senior Management and cross functional alignment, strategy execution and ongoing facility optimization and management. Responsible for all building system functions including mechanical, fire/life safety, building maintenance, administrative services and related vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management for all facility related construction & maintenance activities for all ABRA Auto Body & Glass shops.
  • Secure external real estate facilities partnerships and lead internal facilities staff to advance projects on time and on budget.
  • Oversee execution of preventative maintenance programs to ensure upkeep of all ABRA Auto Body & Glass properties which will include paint facilities, cleaning services, routine maintenance and other required and assigned activities.
  • Lead the strategy, planning, management and effective utilization of space for all of ABRA Auto Body & Glass enterprise wide office buildings.
  • Responsible for directly managing several direct reports providing day to day work direction, and overall coaching, mentoring, performance management and development of direct reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Professional Facilities accreditation preferred
  • 8-10 years previous experience leading a multi-site, multi-state facilities function
  • Extensive experience securing and partnering with external real estate brokerage services
  • Proven ability to manage a large staff
  • Effective at both the strategic level work and the execution details
  • Experience successfully working with all levels of management
  • High sense of urgency, task oriented, ability to manage several high priorities at once
  • Understands and comfortable with technical aspects of building equipment and structures e.g. HVAC, roofs
